Elizabeth Eastman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides therapy for individuals and couples in her private practice in Palo Alto, California.
With over 18 years experience in the mental health field, she focuses her practice on adjusting to parenthood, depression and anxiety in pregnancy and postpartum, and fertility issues.
In addition, Elizabeth offers workshops on topics including how couples can keep their relationship strong, how to parent as a team, work-life balance, coping with stress, and anger management for parents. She also writes articles for parenting newsletters. Furthermore, Elizabeth does presentations for physicians and their staff on perinatal depression, and has facilitated postpartum stress support groups. Education: Elizabeth holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts.
Additional Training: She has been trained in working with perinatal mood disorders by Postpartum Support International. Elizabeth has also completed training with the Gottman Institute, and by Dan Wile in couples therapy. Additionally, she is a Certified Gottman Educator, trained in the "Bringing Baby Home" program to help couples make the transition to parenthood.
